[MONDAY MUSE] This one`s for the stainless steel lovers.

When you think of stainless steel, it`s likely you picture a large commercial kitchen bustling with a vibrant mise en place and hot meals on the pass, ready for service.

The thing is, while this utilitarian material was once reserved only for commercial food-grade spaces (and sterile medical environments), it has slowly evolved in popularity for use in residential spaces. And we are sooooooo here for it.

Hardwearing, hygienic, and timeless, it is no wonder people are turning to this material when designing their kitchens. Whether it`s curved around an island bench, brushed, waxed, or hammered, stainless steel can be treated in various finishes to create a truly unique design.

While it may present like a cold element in isolation, when it`s carefully layered with other materials like timber or marble, stainless steel is the perfect finishing touch in a beautiful marriage of tactile elements.
